On 19th May 2012, an exhibition, dedicated to the Second World War Normandy fallen from York, England, was opened at St Williams College. This exhibition formed part of the Humanities Showcase for York St John University Create Event.
On display was a roll of honour, memorial pages, photographs, archive documents, artifacts and a video presentation relating to the 110 men from York, who lost their lives in 1944.
The research and exhibition was put together with the help of 12 second-year, history undergraduate, students from York St John University, who worked as volunteers on the Fallen Heroes of Normandy project between February and May 2012.
Below are some photographs from that exhibition.
