Additional Information
NEIL WATSON GORDON was born in King Street, Aberdeen, Scotland on the 4th December 1923. He joined the army in Aberdeen on the 18th June 1942 and married Francis Veronica Wilson in January 1944.
He died of wounds on 31st July 1944, whilst waiting to be transported back to the United Kingdom. Nearly 5 months later his son Neil was born on 28th December 1944. His son went onto marry Heather Ford and together they had 4 children and 5 grandchildren.1
