What other people have said
Elaine King nee Sebire
This was my beautiful brother, Joe, a proud paratrooper, who fought and died bravely, fighting to free France from the German occupation. I was only a small child when he died but I know from what my mother & sister told me, that he loved me so very much. In his letters home he often said that if he did not make it back, they were to make sure 'little Elaine' would remember him. He was parachuted into Normandy on "D Day" 6th June 1944 and fought hard until 24th July when he met his death. God Bless You and all the thousands of men & women who paid the ultimate sacrifice in the name of "Freedom from Oppression".
