Flying Officer JOHN WILLIAM WALKER, 402988, was from Lismore, New South Wales. He was born on the 28th December 1913 and enlisted on the 11th November 1940. He was posted as Missing-in-Action (MIA) and later Killed-in-Action (KIA) over Normandy on the 23rd June 1944. At the time he was flying for 168 Squadron and appears to have been piloting a Mustang.1
