Additional Information
EARLE FREEMAN WARREN was born in January 1923 at Sioux Outlook, Ontario. He enlisted in July 1941 at Regina, Saskatchewan. He was killed on the 7th May 1944 and was originally buried in LE FIDELAIRE COMMUNAL CEMETERY along with his crewmates Flight Lieutenant HENRY DIXIE CHURCHILL and Flying Officer JOHN DOUGLAS FOSTER. Later they were moved to BRETTEVILLE-SUR-LAIZE WAR CEMETERY.
He was the youngest of two children. His older brother, Pilot Officer D.G. Warren, also served with the Royal Canadian Air Force.1
