Frank Mantle introduced my mother and father before he joined the Canadian Army and was killed. I was born in 1941. My younger brother in named after Frank. If it hadn't been for Frank Mantle, i likely would not have existed. God bless him and the sacrifice he made. And his father too, killed in WW1.

After searing so long for my great grandad. I am sure that this is him from the information I have been given. I wish I would have known him. A very brave man just like those other men who fought for us all.
So loved and never forgotten, dear Uncle William xx
