From your grandson you never met,you made the.gone but never forgotten .THANK YOU from all of us.
My uncle Walter Scott is one of the names. I never met you but you are not forgotten. A hero lies with heroes , I salute you and send my fathers and my grandmothers love to you.
Visited this beautiful place of remembrance. It must have been in 1991or 92 . We came across it by accident, it was so incredibly moving. Neither my wife or I will never forget it .
To my Great Uncle Owen: May you rest in peace.
I would like to let Staff Sgt. Balducci's family know that, on March 17,2018, I had the privilege of paying my respects at your loved one's grave and planted a flag from home. He is not, and will never be, forgotten.
James was my uncle whom I was named after. He was much loved by his sister Belle.
I visited your grave with my father, Charles William Turland, 53rd Worcestershire Yeomanry. Our visit was very sad. Dad remembered the day you were killed by a mortar shell in your forward observer position. Dad lost an arm in Normandy and has joined you in heaven. I have a photo of you 211 Battery (in Pegasus Museum). You are in the second row at the front. My father and Donald Bowers, who is buried in Ranville Cemetery are there too. I will always remember you. RIP
Remembered with love, my great uncle Alfred who courageously gave his life for others. Never forgotten and so proud. God bless you ♥️ They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them.
Thank you for your sacrifice, Sir.
Terence Cousins and I are related. He was my grandmothers cousin. I feel honoured to be related to this great man. He deserved to have the Victoria Cross.
Rest well, Sgt. Danny Knapp. You are forever remembered and missed dearly.
